Recently, our #1 complaint is about the new split wingnut shipped with all Bath Royale Premium and Superior seats (BR606/620, BR631B and BR644). If not threaded properly, the wingnut may strip or not hold tight, causing your toilet seat to move out of position.

It's important to note that our split wingnuts are MADE TO SLIDE along the length of the screw for quick, easy fitting into the mounting hole. 

Our wingnut design uses the WEDGE PRINCIPLE so that it only tightens on the screw once it's firmly in the mounting hole.

Split Wingnut Installation Tips:

  • NOTE: To thread properly, the tips of the wingnut must be centered and pressed up into the underside of the mounting hole.

  • NOTE: It is best to turn the screw, not the wingnut. Hold the wingnut at the bottom (push upwards) and turn the screw from the top using a Phillips head screwdriver.
  • NOTE: On rare occasions, wingnut may strip. If this happens, please contact us and we will send replacements immediately.
  • NOTE: If the mounting holes in your toilet are not industry standard (round and 5/8 inch in diameter), split wingnut will not work. Please contact us and we will expedite alternative mounting hardware.

Order Not Received, Cancellations or Delivery Issues:

Returns (Ordered wrong item):
For orders placed on Amazon.com, Amazon requires customers to contact them directly. Amazon will not do "exchanges", but you can return your seat (within 30 days of purchase) for a full refund and re-order the correct seat. 

Returns can be initiated online. Simply log on to your Amazon account, click Your Account/Your Orders, and follow the prompts to get a return shipping label. If you have any trouble or want to speak with someone directly, Amazon’s Customer Service is available 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week at 1-866-216-1072. 

Please repack your seat as carefully as possible, using the original packing materials and include all parts and instructions. 


Returns (Beyond 30 days):
Amazon’s return policy is 30 days. If beyond 30 days and your seat is in “new” condition, please contact us directly and we will try to help.

Damages:

NOTE: Amazon has a "Replacement Policy" where you can request a replacement without having to place a new order. If within the first 30 days of purchase you are not completely satisfied, please contact your place of purchase (most have a 30-day, no-hassle return policy). Our standard 2-year limited warranty is one of the best in the industry and covers defects in materials and workmanship. We cannot guarantee installation costs, installation mistakes or product damages. If you have concerns about product quality or failure during normal use, please contact us directly.

Care & Cleaning


Matching Rug Sets and Seat Covers
Bath Royale’s hinges are integral (built-in) to the seat and lid, therefore, the overall length may be longer than other seats with external hinges. Most elongated fabric seat covers will fit Bath Royale’s round seats, but we are not aware of any that will fit our elongated seats. If you find one, please let us know and we’ll share the information!


Is the Slow-Close speed adjustable?
The slow-close speed is set at the factory and is not adjustable. Closing too slowly? Simply push it closed; our seats are built to tolerate forced closing. 

 
Where are your seats made?
Marcobelle Company and Bath Royale are headquartered in Davidson, North Carolina, where our seats are designed, tested, and supported by our experienced customer service team. BR606-02 is currently manufactured to our specifications in China.
