All Bath Royale toilet seats come with bottom mount hardware.

Top mount hardware is required for toilets with flat sides, “skirted” bowls or concealed trap ways (no access to wing nuts underneath bowl). See photo example and Kohler NOTE below.

Fits toilets with industry standard mounting holes, 5/8 inch diameter.
NOTE: Some KOHLER toilets have smaller, non-standard mounting holes (3/8 inch diameter) and require Kohler’s proprietary anchor nuts (K-85040), usually pre-installed at the factory. After removing the existing seat, if the nuts are in good condition (not loose or corroded), simply re-use them with the ¼-inch threaded screws included with all Bath Royale toilet seats.
MAKES INSTALLATION EASIER - Enables toilet seat to be installed from the top, without reaching behind or underneath the toilet bowl. Perfect for recreational vehicle (RV) toilets and tight spaces.
HOLDS SEAT TIGHT - Corrosion-resistant stainless steel screws and zinc nuts provide strong, metal-to-metal connection. No more sliding.

Order toilet seat but instructions don’t talk about needing special toggle bolts

Order toilet seat but instructions don’t talk about needing special toggle bolts. So order item and everything works just great. I was looking for endurance.

Hi Kennon,

We appreciate the 5 star review. We wanted to note that in our listing in the third bullet is a note about top mount hardware. It is under the section called

Before you order

Make sure to measure your toilet bowl to determine whether you need a Round or Elongated toilet seat.

Confirm your toilet seat color. Do not try to match images on your screen with your toilet since all screen cast colors differently. Still unsure? Bath Royale has color matching cards available at no charge. Contact us and request.

NOTE: Some toilets require top mount hardware (sold separately). See last photo on left.

In our new production of seats, top mount hardware is included along with the standard bottom mount hardware that fits 95% of toilets.
